(Imagine the headline as crossed-out "Food Safe Certifcate" - science world, until it's fixed)
Today, I was going to participate in a "Food Safe" course to obtain a certificate neccessary to work in food serving jobs in canada. However, the website was apparently not up to date (altough beung updated on the 01. of feb) and the course was only mondays +saturdays, but not sundays, as advertised on their homepage. So, I was in Vancouver at 9am lacking a plan what to do. So, I went to science world, a big impressive bowl hanging over the english bay that was orginally built for expo'86 and is located on my skitrain route to the city. Since I was quite early (SW opening @10am), I didn't really see any other customers and just bought a ticket and went inside...
I only realized why everything (EVERYTHING) was child-friendly ("wow, canada really looks out for everyone") when I saw that I was the only one that was neither:
A: an employee
B: under 8 years old
C: parent/company of B
In the end, I payed like 20$ to hang out with the volunteers and perform card tricks or other sleigh of hands for some time...
I had really hoped for more "science" and less "world", altough it's probably awesome for a five-y/o.
Since it was raining through most of that day, I hung out at a mall a bit and went home continueing my work @ jobs, accomodations and the blog...
I hope you appreciated my blog in english, feel free to point out errors, I don't feel like proofreading on my phone since it's a pain in the ass.
PS: Der Origunalpost auf deb sich Rabbit bezieht war "Test"
Test, Test. 1, 2. 1, 2.
